about me

I'm 22 years old, I'm engaged (the wedding is August 1st, 2009) and I really, really love to cook. I'm really thinkig about going to culinary school. It probably won't go anywhere, but I will be just that much better at doing something that I really do love. I love making recipes from scratch. Or at least far more from scratch than any of my friends (or even their moms) think about doing. There is just something beautiful, amazing, scientific, and awesome about taking FOOD and turning it into DINNER.

Favorite Foods:

I know, I know, its the irish in me, but I love potaoes. Potato soup is a huge favorite for me. Soup in genaral. Rice. Pasta. Okay, so I like carbs...but a good steak, or cooked broccoli. Squash or zuchini. Asparagus. So basically...lots of carbs and veggies with some good spiced meat thrown in here and there. LOL
