about me

I live in central Illinois with my husband.

I have 4 grown married children.

I have 16 beautiful grandchildren.

I have 2 adorable great grandchildren (will have 3 as of next week)

I am retired (if you can call it that). I own our local Freecycle (TM) Group. I am an Administrator on a Baptist Board with 8,000 members. I have a Prison Ministry. I also own an eBay store. Hmmm. Maybe I'm NOT retired.

My main passions are God, my family, reading, growing plants (indoors and out), crocheting, and cooking.

One of my pet peeves is buying a box that says "push in here to open" and it takes a hammer and chisel to get into it!!!

Favorite Foods:

My favorite meal to cook is Fried Chicken, Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Chicken (white) Gravy, Scalloped Corn, and homemade Apple Pie.

I am famous for my Bucket Salad, Macaroni Salad, Snowball Cake, Snickerdoodles, Fried Chicken, Apple Pie, Low-Carb Peanut Butter & Chocolate Pie and Decadent Cake.
