about me

I have a wonderful husband, one teenage son, and another son who will be a teenager all too soon.

I am a former elementary school, middle school,and university teacher. Since the birth of my older son, I have been a stay-at-home mom who is hardly ever at home! I am an active volunteer at my children's schools, our church, and other community agencies.

I love to cook and wish I had more time to do it. I enjoy baking and doing once-a-month cooking, well, actually twice-a-month cooking. I work hard at keeping our meals low in fat for health reasons, something my kids don't always appreciate! : )

I also love to read and I'm a knitting fiend.
