about me

I live in the Pacific Northwest US. I am in high school, and I love to cook/bake. I have a fairly large family (4 brothers and 4 sisters) and we're all big eaters, so I enjoy the challenge of finding recipes to feed us all. In my free time (of which there is little), I am in 4-H with my dairy goats, rats, bread baking, food preservation and food and nutrition. I volunteer once a week at my church's AWANA and spend one day a week volunteering at the Special Ed class at my local junior high. I have played the piano for almost 6 years and the cello for 1 year. I am taking 4 classes at the local high school this year: Acting Techniques, Women's Ensemble, Honors Humanities, and Beginning Agri-Science and Technology. I sing in my church choir, and I love music. My passion is reading and writing. I am in the youth group at my BF's church. I am in a homeschool orchestra with my cello, and a homeschool chess club. LOL I am classified as a nerd. I love watching movies. I am planning on taking ballroom dancing and yoga classes at the local Y sometime soon. I plan on volunteering time this summer at a camp for Special needs children and adults. I want to do running start my last two years of high school, attend WSU with a major in psychology (I want to be a psychiatrist for troubled teens). I'm a hopeless romantic. I love old and vintage things. Some say I'm boy crazy. I am really a very liberal Christian (I'm a theistic evolutionist, a feminist, I accept other religions, and I believe homosexuality is ok), and I love debating. I don't believe in President Bush and I hate this war - I hate any war, for whatever reason. I believe that in some cases, abortion is okay. I can't resist Irish and Mediterranean guys. Anything else? Ask me. I just might answer you. :D

Favorite Foods:

I love macaroni and cheese, candy corn, egg salad sandwiches, Oreo milkshakes from Jack in the Box, potato salad with LOTS of mustard... Whatever I have a craving for. I don't have a favorite dish to cook, because I like making just about anything, especially Asian food.
