about me

I'm a 25 year old currently working for a great company as a care representative and residing in Wyoming. I'm also a hairstylist and enjoy doing hair whenever possible. My husband and I moved to Cheyenne 2 years ago, from Houston, TX (my hometown...and no I don't own a horse or a belt buckle the size of my head, or a branding iron ) My husband and I started dating 8 years ago and we've been married 3. He's been in the Air Force for 3 years and this is our first base, however we hope to be on to the next by the end of this year. We are the parents of two very quirky yet very lovable cats, Mateo (5) and Kassie (4). Since moving, I've returned to my love for cooking and although I maintain a vegetarian diet primarily and my husband is a shameless carnivore, we enjoy experimenting with a variety of cooking styles... well, as much as we can while living in such a culture-deprived community.

We have frequent dinner and game nights with our friends on base and occasionally we get a little competitive with our cooking. Our latest dinner adventures have been homemade pizza. One of my favorite things to do is invent new meals with unexpected ingredients in my kitchen such as tofu or spinach.

Favorite Foods:

Peter Pan Reduced Fat Creamy Peanut Butter (I know it has a bunch of bad things in it that I can't pronounce, but it's my guilty pleasure), Chocolate, Edamame, Any fresh fruit or veggie, except cucumber (weird,I know). I LOVE trying foods from different cultures, my current favorites being Indian, Mediterranean, and Japanese. I'm completely bored with American Cuisine. If any one has a delicious recipe for creamy Bengan Bharta I'd love to try it out!
