My secret indulgence? Grocery Shopping.
I can literally spend hours roaming up and down the aisles of a Supermarket.
Sound crazy? Not if you're a self described "Foodie" like me.
I am fortunate enough to live in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia. The food community here is very rich in diversity, which has allowed me to sample tasty treats from all over the planet right here at home.
Aside from the Supermarket, there are tons of smaller Ethnic Grocery Stores, Butcher shops and Bakeries here in the city.
Vancouver is also home to the Granville Island Public Market - a food lovers haven! Imagine over 100 fresh produce, local seafood, speciatly meat and gourmet shops all in the same building... no wonder I love cooking so much!

Favorite Foods:

It's so hard to pick a favorite food. Currently I'm in love with a restaurant that serves Asian Fusion food. They use all fresh ingredients and the dishes they produce are absolutely amazing...
I also really enjoyed eating the local specialties I've had on my trips to Mexico. Delicious dishes with fresh ripe produce, marinated pork and homemade tortillas come to mind. I plan on taking a few cooking classes on my trip this year.. hopefully I'll come home with some recipes for this site!
I also love to Entertain and recipes for appetizers are my specialty. I plan parties just so that we have an opportunity to cook!
I love the concept of eating small nibbles of several different dishes and when I plan a party, I try to create several appetizers that complement each other.

I love the Recipezaar Website. I have used it for years, but only recently decided to set up an account so that I could let everyone know how much I enjoy their recipes and so I could also share my own...
