Born and raised in Vermont, the last 7 yrs I've resided on the western border of Toronto, Ontario. It's beautiful here! I previously lived in new Brunswick where I was 'known' for my Chinese cooking, namely wonton soup, lo mein & especially my egg rolls. Other favorites were lasagna & macaroni soup - a soup I've 'carried along' from my childhood.
With 5 children grown and gone, I have lots of time in my kitchen - but just my husband & I to feed!! It keeps the neighbors happy as I'm constantly knocking at door's with a plate of goodies in hand!
Previously a teacher of theraputic crafting & a chocolatier (Sweet Impressions in NB doing molds, carvings & individual chocolates), I am now designing needlework and loving it!
I have a large cupboard of cookbooks, downsized when I moved into this condo (I did have an actual CLOSET of cookbooks!) I think nothing of curling up with a good read, often a cookbook! My children enjoy the same and have large and varied collections of their own.


Favorite Foods:
Favorites? Certainly chocolate (who doesn't?), and I'm a huge fan of fruits and vegetables (most varieties); poultry & game; seafood, fish.... breads, sweets..... got the picture? I'm a live to eat person!! I enjoy the sights, smells, flavors & textures - they all add up to a most pleasurable experience!
