I am a marketing assistant at a large accounting firm in Philadelphia, PA. I am single and prefer it that way. I do enjoy cooking for friends, but my family finds my tastes too exotic for them. I am a Navy veteran and have traveled extensively throughout Asia and lived in California for seven years. I'm constantly changing my profile because I am never satisfied with it.
I love soul food, Latin American, most Asian foods too. Don't really have a favorite. My dad was half-Cuban, but only within the past few years have I become interested in Latin American food, and I LOVE it. I only wish I knew how to make a good steak and how to bake....guess it's some sort of art.
What foods don't I like?
Day-old baked goods
Cube steaks
canned potatoes/instant mashed
Spam (YUCK - I ate it almost every day in the Navy; can't STAND it! I can tolerate turkey Spam, however.)
Fat on my meat (MUST be TRIMMED!)
Biscotti or sugar cookies
Most fruit and meat combos
Pierogies - yuck
Vegan or vegetarian main courses
Mint jelly on my lamb. Hate it. Mint belongs in mouthwash and mojitos.
