- my experience in the kitchen consisted of me doing the odd mixing for my mom growing up, to now, getting all of my recipes from RecipeZaar.com
I am extremely addicted to this website and it's what I use 95% of the time!
- I LOVE using herbs and spices and I try to stay away from already made sauces and mixes when I can. Though I completely understand their usefulness when you're short on time, but for me, what's the fun in making a cake when you're using a cake mix? Making a giant mess and having a variety of ingredients spread out all around you is half the fun! ![]()
- I'm not very good at gathering random ingredients around the house, playing by ear and putting together a grand meal. I tend to need a recipe in front of me, but I hardly ever follow a recipe to an exact T. I love to change directions and ingredients. I love coming up with something different than what was written in front of me and I LOVE trying new things.
- I love trying new recipes and don't often make the same recipe twice. I think reviewing recipes on this site is just as much fun as making it!
Right now I'm craving...
* Pork Chops With Tangy Onion Sauce (292748) - easy, pretty, and tasty!
* Eggplant (Aubergine) With Raw Garlic (42280) - sometimes all you need are a few simple, good quality ingredients for a very yummy meal.
* Quick ‘n Light Curry Apple Chicken Wraps (228010) - Curry apple chicken wraps? Who would've thought!
* Easy Omelet for One (16193) - I'm still trying to perfect the whole removing-the-omelet-from-the-pan-and-folding-it-without-making-a-huge-mess thing, but I have nothing against making this over and over till I get it just right! ![]()
