about me

I am the proud mother of a little girl, Evelyn Ellen, born December 10th, 2006.

Although cooking is right up there, I'd have to say my first loves are my husband, my daughter and my two cats, Handsome Sampson and Spotacus.

I attend university, and am currently pursuing an Honours BA in Religion with a double minor in French and Gender Studies, which will eventually lead to a PhD (hopefully).

I am considering converting to Judaism, and have started preparing kosher meals. This isn't too difficult, because being a vegetarian, I already follow most of the rules as is.

If I've tried your recipe, I will rate it. I promise.

♦♦♦♦♦ = Excellent! It worked just like the recipe said it would and tasted great.
♦♦♦♦ = Really good. Either the recipe took some tweaking, or it wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but still worth making again.
♦♦♦ = Good, but nothing to write home about.
♦♦ = Disappointing. Either the directions are misleading, or I didn't like the taste at all.
♦ = Hated it.

Favorite Foods:

I am a lacto ovo vegetarian, and so I love baking and sweets, breakfast-y egg dishes, waffles, chocolate puddings and fruits/vegetables... But I abhor meat, mushrooms and olives!

My favourite thing to do? Canning and baking! ...And yes, I am the only one of my friends who cans.
