I am originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Ohio in 1978. It was quite a culture shock going from the city to living next to the Amish. I am a Project Manager for a company that manufacturers speech devices for people who cannot speak and spend most of my other time cooking, cleaning and caring for my four kids. I have abandoned cookbooks and now cook from favorite, wilted recipe pages and the internet. I grew up with an Italian father who is a fabulous cook! I learned my way around the kitchen from Mom and Dad.

My favorite dishes are Chicken Marsala, Pasta e Fagioli, and Vegetable Fajitas. I am not afraid to try new things, so I am most famous for my adventurous cooking. I attempted to send leftover "Hamburger Helper" to work with my husband for his lunch and he exclaimed, " I can't bring that, after all, I am known to have the most awesome leftovers in the company. I am the envy of all the guys I work with. Hamburger Helper will ruin my reputation". Recently, we moved into an new neighborhood, where we have awesome neighbors. We spend most Saturday nights gathered at one of our homes sharing food, drinks and fun! We rarely eat out any more, but when we do, I most enjoy trips to Buca di Beppo or our local authentic Mexican Restaurant, El Campesino.
