about me

Born and raised in Florida by a stay-at-home Mom who cooked everything from scratch. Soul food was her specialty, but she served gourmet food as well. We'd have to dress for dinner and she'd make a "thematic" meal. She even made fortune cookies once and hand-wrote the fortunes. I owned a restaurant bakery for 2.5 years and loved it. Cooking is therapeutic for me.
