about me

I live by the Atlantic Ocean - beautiful
sunrises! For fun, I like to read, sew,
and spend time with my children [son age 12, daughter age 6]. I enjoy cooking for my family and friends.Every week, on my day off, I try something new. Sometimes it's a "keeper", sometimes it's a dud, but it's always interesting. My husband, son and daugher look forward to "New Recipe Night", and to rating my efforts.

Favorite Foods:

I like to make casseroles - they're quick,
convenient for reheating, and usually
provide a complete meal-in-one, which is
a real timesaver when I have to work until 6pm most days.
We're just beginning to experiment with
different cuisines - my husband was raised
by a meat-and-potatoes standard, so he's a
little hesitant to try anything too "exotic"
but I'm working on him!
