about me

I live in a small village(Lake George)in upstate NY that gets crazy with tourists in the summer. I have always loved to cook, but have never really been able to "walk the walk" until I became ill a couple of years ago. Now I have the time and my DH's waistline can attest to it. I've been out of hospital since July this time and am spending more and more time in the kitchen. DH and I will have been married 10 years in April and are still very much in love. We have no children, but two cats; Baby and Pixel, who keep us plenty busy.

Favorite Foods:

Just about all of it!! I can't do really spicy and my body doesn't care for curry so those are out. My Dad and natural mother (deceased) were from Texas so I Love a good brisket. I like to cook for friends so I'm always trying the things they like too. I guess I'm just a general foodie!!
