I am a retired goverment employee who is back in the full time work force. I have always done the majority of the cooking since we married 30+ years ago. My children are now grown but still come home for Dad's home cooking. Hobbies, in addition to cooking, includes hunting, fishing, working with the Boy Scouts and active within my church where I do a lot of crowd cooking. My most favorite thing to do is to come home and not have any idea what to make and go from there. I do a lot of canning and preserving, which I enjoy entering into the local county fair with some past success.












Favorite Foods:
One pot meals and baking quick breads and muffins is another favorite type of cooking that I enjoy. My family says I make a mean crockpot chili and pork barbecue. The folks at work really enjoy my bake goods.
My favorite food restaurant dishes are seafood, especially any crab and oysters dishes. Naturally here in Maryland getting a bushel of steamed crabs in the summertime is definitely a delight.
Recently I received a dehydrator for Christmas and now I am doing a lot of experimenting with drying. Fruits and jerky is what I do the most.
