I've been coming and going here for almost 5 years and have seen a lot of changes, but what remains consistent is the thousands of recipes to choose from when you want to try something new! I don't really have anything to contribute in the way of new recipes because I see things posted here that are similar to what I make with a tweak here or there and figure why clog the system with dupes
I've been married 26 years and have been fortunate to live in many different states and Germany when my husband was in the Air Force. Since he retired, staying in one place seems almost boring now as you get used to a mobile lifestyle and enjoy all the opportunities you're presented with when living in different areas. I'm actually back within a couple hours drive of where I grew up and appreciate it more now for its beauty and what it has to offer then I did when I was younger and couldn't wait to get away from it! Funny how older can suddenly become wiser!
We both enjoy going to the beach as often as we can and are fortunate enough to live close enough that a day trip is easy.
I love baseball and am a diehard Mariners fan, even tho it seems like they've forgotten how to play at times! I look forward to every spring when hopefully it will be "their year" ~ one can dream!
I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, jigsaw puzzles and when I'm in the mood, cross stitch to name a few things. I'm always busy doing something and don't sit idle well.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone will tell me what they think I want to hear rather then just be honest.

Favorite Foods:

There are too many foods to pick just a few favorites because with mood comes change and what might be a favorite one day won't be the next. I do know green peppers are my least favorite and I don't like fruit in anything excpet a pie or crisp... just prefer it by itself
