Part time "House Dad" & "Domestic Chef". I love to experiment in the kitchen, eat, & stay healthy to eat some more.
The tough part about cooking for our family (aside from having an infant and a picky preschooler to feed) is that I'm allergic to cheese & milk. It's not a lactose thing, it's something else & it triggers skin problems. Eliminating dairy removes a lot of options from the menu. Add another factor: My wife has trouble digesting onions, garlic, pepper, and just doesn't like seafood or Asian foods at all. She's not too crazy about chicken, steak, but she eats it. Through my efforts that she, at the age of 30-something, tasted rice for the first time in her life. She loves cheese, milk, potatoes, & most desserts.
Between the two of us, we have a tough time building a weekly meal plan. It's a good thing we have Recipezaar.com!
