I love Recipezaar. It has revitalized my previous love of cooking. It is so much fun to try new recipes and to have the opportunity to make new friends from the various members as well. I told my DH that I had given myself a birthday present today when I subscribed to the Premium Membership...he said he guessed I was worth it. I pointed out to him that the new dishes he is getting to enjoy were worth every penny. He grinned...and agreed.
One of the most enjoyable new things I have learned to do from Recipezaar is baking Wild Yeast Sourdough Bread.
I also enjoy the various forums where I have met a lot of really nice people from all over the world.
Probably the family favorite is Chicken, Pork or Veal Schnitzel. I learned how to make it when my husband was in the Air Force and stationed in Germany many years ago. It is a lot of work to make...but oh, so good.
I love trying foods from almost everywhere. While my husband was in the Air Force we learned to eat and enjoy a nice variety of foods from different areas of the world.
My favorite restaurants are The Outback and any restaurant which has good Mongolian BBQ.
