Taco Soup

Ingredients

• 1 lb extra lean ground beef
• 1 onion, chopped
• 3 (15 1/2 ounce) cans mild chili beans, undrained
• 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained
• 1 (14 1/4 ounce) can corn, undrained
• 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
• 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

   Brown beef with onions in large saucepan; drain fat.

   Add all remaining ingredients except cheese; stir, breaking up tomatoes.

   Bring to a boil.

   Simmer on medium-low heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

   Serve topped with cheese.

   You could also serve with sour cream, if desired.
