Taco Casserole

a simple, very tasty recipe we had at a dinner party . I got rave reviews on it.

SERVES 4 -6 , 1 casserole (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    In a large bowl, combine soup, milk, corn, taco seasoning, bell pepper, onion, salt, cumin, and oregeno and mix well.
  2. 2
    In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, place a layer of half crushed tostitos, , half chicken, half soup mixture, and half of the cheese.
  3. 3
    Repeat layers ending with cheese on the top.
  4. 4
    Bake covered at 325 degrees for 40 minutes, or until it is bubbly around the edges.

    When ready to serve, sprinkle top of casserole with black olives.

this takes little time to make but is big on flavor, I made as stated but with a few amount adjustments and also added in cayenne pepper, next time I will do some changes such as saute the onion and bell pepper in oil before adding and also add in some fresh garlic, I will omit the oregano also, all in all my family enjoyed this, thanks for sharing weekendcooker!
