Wonderful to nibble on with your holiday punch. Or, put in decorative containers as a heart-felt gift, especially during these difficult economic times.

SERVES 6 , 3 cups (change servings and units)

    Beat egg white (at room temperature) and water at high speed of an electric mixer until foamy. Add pecans, stirring to coat.

    Combine sugar and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, and sprinkle over pecans; stir well.
  3. 3
    Spread pecans in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring twice. Let cool.
