It was quite interesting. I liked the initial flavour but the aftertaste wasn't terribly pleasing for me, almost bitter. I might try it again but use anise instead of fennel. Maybe I didn't use enough sugar. I will try it again because I'm not sure if I like it or not

This tea is a delight. It contains ingredients most serious cooks probably keep on hand yet the taste it yields is exotic as well as pleasing.

What a nice taste this had! It reminded me of a tea blend I once had. Yes, it made a gooey glop, but I didn't drink that part! Loved the flavor! Thank you Syrinx!

Oh Joy! I dearly love tea and also spice. I have been making cinnamon tea since forever but this is so much nicer in flavor interest. I made it this morning and am just about to finish my mug. I had everything on hand and it's so very simple to toss the spices into a pot and go about your business for a bit. I set the timmer for 5 mins and tried it then but then gave it 2 more. It was perfect with a touch of honey. I'm going to stock up on anise seeds next time I shop. And, oh yes, I put a paper coffee filter in the strainer and ran it through that. What a happy find this is. I would have never thought of adding caraway seeds!EDIT*-I'm staying with the 5 stars but I have changed one thing. I'm now useing cinnamon sticks in place of ground. I was in a rush yesterday and didn't want to wait while it slowly worked thorugh a filter so I chucked it all into a mug. It cooled off as I was busy and the ground cinnamon became one gooy glop in the cup (ewwwww). This doesn't happen with sticks.
