Sausage Wonton Cups

My mother made these for a get-together and everyone loved them. She can't remember where she got the recipe.

SERVES 12 , 24 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    In a large skillet cook sausage until well done. Drain. Add tomato sauce, garlic, and basil. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thick.

    Press wonton wrappers into miniature muffin cups sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake at 350 about 7 minutes or until slightly brown.
  3. 3
    Spoon sausage mix into cups and sprinkle with cheese. Bake until cheese is melted.
