The WhiteHogg World Championship Steak Marinade

I apologize to LuuvBunny in advance, but this was horrible. I can't even think how to make this better. It totally masked the natural beef flavour, and it actually changed the texture of the beef. Not good. Will not use again... ever!

Delicious! I did not change a thing... I marinated the steak for 24+ hours. I usually prefer the ease of using an Italian dressing as a marinade for my steaks but I had all the ingredients on hand and you don't need to add or delete a thing! Don't even put the steak sauce on the table; you won't need it. I wish I could give this one ten stars!

Excellent, simple marinade, especially for those who like to doctor up their recipes. I used it on a cheap London broil, and I added 1/3 can of beer (makes the meat extra tender), cayenne pepper, and a pinch of salt. I also upped the original ingredients to balance with the beer. Within 4 hours, the steak was practically falling apart in the bag. After a quick broil, it was the best $3 steak I'd ever had! It definitely tops those $20+ restaurant steaks that the cooks never seem to season right.

As a cattleman, I don't normally like anything that would mask the natural flavor of the beef. This marinade added a truely fantastic flavor to the steak. It definitely complimented the natural flavor of the steak.
