The "President's Choice" is a high end store brand in Canada that also publishes recipes. I'd rather have this dessert than chocolate....and I LOVE chocolate. Serve this at your next dinner party - you won't be disappointed!!!

I made this about 6 months ago and forgot to review it. I had eaten Tiramisu for the first time at a little Greek/Italian restaurant and loved it, so I decided to make it myself. Honestly, I didn't care for this recipe much at all. I am thinking that the Tiramisu that I had at the restaurant wasn't "authentic" Tiramisu, because this recipe proved an entirely different taste and texture than the other one I had. However, I had made this for a dinner party and our guests LOVED it. Also, I'm sure that this is a very good authentic Tiramisu since I tried another one at an Italian restaurant since I made this one and it tasted very similar to this one. Hence the four star review. However, I'm going to look for a less authentic one that suits my palate a little more.

This was a very tasty tiramisu. However, mine didn't set up right and looked more like banana pudding on the plate. Nevertheless it got very high marks from my guests.

THIS WAS EXCELLENT!!! I made it for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it!! I will definately make again and again! I did dip some lady fingers a tad bit to long, so if anyone is making this, make sure you dip it really really fast! They get mushy!

My first time making Tiramisu and this one didn't disappoint (as the dessert dishes of my guests confirmed). Couldn't locate any Kahlua so I used Sambucca and a straight-sided 22 X 10 cm serving dish. I lined the sides of the dish with the ladyfingers (which were also 10 cm long) then proceeded with the layering. I had to double the amount of dipping liquid, but the amount of the mascarpone mixture was just perfect to fill this dish. The point I wish to make is that you can play around with this one, depending on the dish you use and how many ladyfingers. Thanks for posting this delicious keeper, CL!
