This is taken from Taste of Home magazine. It is a comfort food, quite easy and nutritious.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. 2
    Meanwhile in a dutch over, cook beef and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.

    Stir in the tomato puree, beef broth, Italian seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.

    Bring to a boil.
  5. 5
    Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.

    Add spinach; cook for 1 -2 minutes or until spinach is wilted.
  7. 7
    Drain pasta; stir into beef mixture.
  8. 8
    Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese; cover and cook for 3 or 4 minutes or until cheese has melted.

I made this for my son's band. I followed the recipe as written other then I used crushed tomatoes instead of the puree and I didn't add the spinach. I didn't use all 2 cups of the cheese as I thought it looked like a bit much (and we love cheese). I just dumped the cheese so not sure exactly how much I used. They all enjoyed it. My son thought it needed more salt and pepper.
