We loved this bread. I too added about 1/4C more flour but I used only white flour since I did not have whole wheat on hand and I wasn't sure if that may have effected the stickiness of the dough. No problem though, once the extra flour was added I kneaded it and shaped into a loaf. Placed in a greased loaf pan and let rise. It rose beautifully. I am very new to bread making and this made me look like I knew what I was doing. I have attached photos for you. Thanks so much Lorrie, I have found a keeper. (Made for Fall PAC 2008)

This gets 5 stars for flavor and texture, but like Annacia, this required at least 1/3 cup or maybe more, didn't measure, before it could be handled. I used the dough cycle, then kneaded it and formed into a loaf and let rise again. It didn't hold its shape, probably should've added more flour than I did, so no picture was taken. We loved the flavor and the texture and will make again using 1 cup of water instead of the 1 and 1/3 cup. Thanks Lorrie for sharing this bread. Made for holiday tag.

This made a lovely bread. I found that I needed to knead in somewhere between 1/4 and a 1/3 cup more flour when the dough cycle was done. When that was done it was easy to handle and form into a loaf (I always bake the bread in the oven). It has great texture and will make excellent toast and sandwiches. I omited the honey and added 1 tbsp of Splenda in it's stead. There is nothing better than fresh homemade bread. Made for Photo Tag.
