    In a large bowl combine cake mix, shortening, eggs and water. Shape into 1" balls and roll in confectioners sugar.

    Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minute Place a mint on top of each cookie and cool on wire rack.
