Lager and Lemon-Limeade

A Rachel Ray recipe from the September 2008 edition of her magazine. Supposedly this was a drink served at the South by Southwest music festival in Austin, TX. NOTE: If you don't want yours quite as sweet, simply add the juice of a couple lime wedges and skip the sweetened lime juice. This is a really refreshing, light drink!
SERVES 1 , 1 drink
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup lager beer, chilled
- 3/4 cup lemonade, chilled
- 3 tablespoons sweetened lime juice
- lime wedge (to garnish)
Directions

Stir together all ingredients and serve in a glass (no ice) with a floating lime wedge as a garnish.

A shandy with lime, interesting, the lime cuts the sweetness of the lemonade. A lovely refreshing drink, perfect after an afternoon of gardening. Thanks JB!

Wow this was fantastic, very very refreshing. I am personally not a beer drinker, hubby is so had some at home and decided to try this...made it exactly as stated and excellent!!! Thank you will definitely make this again.....Anne

This was so good! Reminded me of a really good margarita. This was light and very refreshing. I can see them going over very well at Austin's SXSW event. I only had pink lemonade which gave this a blush sort of color. Very pretty. I think this would be equally pretty though with regular lemonade. I normally do not like beer but when I saw this I had to try it. So glad that I did! Wonderful drink Jan Bride! Made for Bevy Tag
