I got this recipe from a brown sugar package and it sounded very unique and in spite of that tasty as well.

12 muffins (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven to 350°F and line 12 muffin tins with paper liners; set aside. Stir together all dry ingredients in a medium bowl. Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1/4 cup walnuts; stir just until combined.

    Spoon batter into prepared muffin tins (they will be very full) and sprinkle with reserved walnuts. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

    Store in a tightly closed container.
