MMMM. I never would have put grilled cheese on cinnamon raisin bread, and hadn't had velveeta in YEARS, but after thinking about the ingredients, I was pretty sure they'd be good together, but had no idea just how good! WOW! The flavors just blend together into something that's not anything like the individual ingredients. I had thought the idea of the syrup was a little odd, but as I was nibbling on this, I got to thinking it might not be bad to have something sweet with it, so I reached for the MAPLE syrup. YUMMY! Made for FALL 08 PAC. Thanks for posting!

Quick, easy and delicious. I used sharp vintage cheddar and made in the sandwich press but omitted the corn syrup. Thank you Laffer, made for Please Review My Recipe.

Oh boy, I've made these three times over the past week for lunches, but wanted to wait until I bought some corn syrup to give that part of the recipe a try. I used cooper sharp cheese all except for when I tried it with the corn syrup - used velveeta. I honestly thought they tasted just fine by them selves, dipped in tomato soup, and the corn syrup wasn't bad either. 2 tablespoons isn't much , I just dabbed the corner I was about to bite a little bit, I liked it, but I have an infamously strong sweet tooth. I also used cinnamon raisin bread, I don't know if theres a plain raisin bread but I liked this better lol. No one else would try any, so this would never be a meal in the house, but no one eats lunch with me so, who cares
