I too wasn't sure if it was supposed to be sweetened strawberries or not, but the ounces for the package lined up with sweetened, so we went that route. Very good fluffy recipe. I would definitely make this again. Made and Reviewed for 123 Hit Wonders Tag - Thanks!

This is a delightful and easy dessert. It really took me back to the 60's which in no way is a bad thing!! I wasn't sure if the strawberries in the ingredient list were sweetened or unsweetened. I had a bag of frozen whole strawberries so cut them and put 2 tblsp. of sugar on to make the 'syrup' for step 3. I did make whipped cream and it worked well. It seemed sweet enough but not overly sweet and it got a thumbs up all round. Thanks for sharing this lovely recipe.
