Ingredients
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar (sift if lumpy)
Directions

Combine melted butter, cocoa and salt; then add milk and vanilla.2
Mix in sugar in 3 parts.3
Mix until smooth and creamy. Add more sugar to thicken or milk to thin, if needed, for good spreading consistency.4
Frosts 2 - 8 or 9 inch layers or a 13x9 inch cake.
