Smoky Mountain Chicken

    Preheat oven to 350.
  2. 2
    Mix together garlic powder, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Season chicken evenly with spice mix.
  3. 3
    Place chicken in pam sprayed baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. 4
    Carefully remove from oven and top each chicken breast with 1/4 cup bbq sauce, 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese.

    Bake an additional 10-15 minutes.
  6. 6
    Remove from oven and top with garnishes. Serve with rice.

Nice change of pace for chicken. I liked CoffeeB's suggestion fo pepper jack cheese which is what I used.

    This has great taste and because of the pepperjack cheese I used, an x-tra kick. Really quick/easy/simple like you stated and such a great twist-up to the ordinary baked chicken. Thanks for posting and glad I tagged for NewestZaarTag~
