Sounds strange, but kids love it. Let it cool slightly before giving to younger kids as the jelly can get hot.

Soooo Good. I actually only made it with penut butter, just because I read through the recipe really fast and didn't even see the jelly part! DUH. But my kids loved it!!! Next time I will add the jelly too!

Ten Star! I am a pb&j girl. I made it with thin rye bread, smuckers natural peanut butter, orange marmalade and slathered some cream cheese on top of the peanut butter before putting together and cooking as instructed. This could be termed gourmet! Thx. for posting it.

The melting peanut butter, warm jelly, and dripping butter only needed one more thing in our house: a dusting of powdered sugar! Yum!

First of all, i have to mention that i get "The Look" every time i say "fried PB&J". You know the one i'm talking about! But, after trying it for breakfast myself, i made it for my husband and son. They both loved it, and in fact my husband was just telling some friends of ours about his new "favorite" sandwich! LOL Thanks a bunch for sharing this recipe, it's a regular treat, breakfast, or lunch in our house now!
