This is a great way to kick start your day. For the best tasting drinks, a few simple rules should always be followed; always use fresh when possible, choose vegetables or fruits that are in season, smell good, are nicely ripened and never prepare them in advance. This will ensure a good beneficial drink.

SERVES 1 , 1 drink (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Place the tomatoes, carrot and lime juice into a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
  2. 2
Drain the mixture and serve in a pretty juice glass. Add a dash of your favourite hot sauce and garnish with the lime slice.
  3. 3
This is best served right after its made, enjoy.

I used fresh Roma tomatoes for this recipe along with S&P. I tasted it first before adding and it definitely needed at least the salt portion. I didn't quite get the lime taste to come thru, but that was o.k. This is actually a filling type drink more on the order of a shake or thick malt. I'm glad you posted and glad I gave it a go for PhotoTag~
