Very good and simple recipe. I'm at a loss how "Momma de Finn" found this bland unless they're usual diet is very spicy and highly seasoned. 2 TABLESPOONS of garlic for this type of recipe is a LOT. A teaspoon each of salt and pepper is average — and the other spices are at expected levels. Plus you add the salt and flavor from cheese? Maybe one could add a bunch of red pepper flakes and additional fresh herbs if they need more flavor--Although, I see this as a quick dinner, aka, hamburger helper... not dining at the Ritz.

I have to say that this was not as good as I expected it to be based on all the good reviews it received. It was very bland. I think it is much easier just to put some extra meat in store bought sauce and throw it with spaghetti in the oven with some cheese on top.

This was good and easy to make. I am 11 and I fixed this by myself for my family for dinner. It made a lot and I thought because the cheese got so browned on top there would be lots left over. Nope--everyone loved it.

Oh Inez, you have done it again! This was really wonderful and so flavorful! I added a can of fresh tomatoes with roasted garlic, some chopped green onions, extra garlic, and a little bit of sugar. I will be making this again and again. Thanks so much for the post. Try this everyone, try this!!!
