Opps. Forgot to write anything the last time. I've been on this site less than a year and have gained a dress size. Well worth it when the food is as good as this was. Excellent pork chops. There are only two of us so I used 2 HUGE chops but did the full recipe of sauce. I covered the chops in the oven for 10 minutes and uncovered for another 20. Wonderful! I made the extra sauce as I knew I'd love it. Served as written but added a tbsp of brandy after the fact and will serve it over a steak later in the week. Thank you for a lovely recipe!

These pork chops were incredible. I substituted ketchup for the tomato sauce and otherwise followed the recipe. The sauce was so good I was practically drinking it out of the pan! My DH loved these and we will be making these regularly, thanks for sharing!

Yum! Yum! Yum! This tastes a bit like a much better version of the old pork chops in mushroom soup everyone used to love. I made a few alterations. I brined the pork chops before cooking. I replaced the whipping cream with evaporated milk to reduce the fat and calories. I used less bacon than called for and think next time I would leave it out. I cooked them for 25 minutes and would cut that back to about 20 next time since we like our pork with a tiny bit of pink. The chops were moist and tender and the topping was really delicious. The "gravy" was great with mashed potatoes. This one is definitely a keeper!

Mmmmmm, this was SO good! That gravy is delicious! I'm so glad I typed in a search for recipes using both whipping cream and pork chops!! I used canned mushrooms instead of fresh, and salsa because I didn't want to open a tin of tomato sauce for just 2 tbsps. Served with macaroni as opposed to rice or potatoes. Looks-wise, the other sides would have been better, but we loved it with the pasta too.
