Nice and smokey, spicy and easy clean up. If you like it sweet try some brown sugar sprinkled on it too.

I loved the brown sugar on the bacon; it complements the saltiness of it. I never fry bacon after I've had my AM shower because I hate smelling like grease. I can now have bacon at dinner time using this method!!!

I didn't have the powdered peppers so I used jalapeno juice on mine. We all loved our bacon along with our eggs for breakfast! Thanks for sharing!

Very tasty and a no-mess way to prepare bacon as well. I used smoked bacon, the maximum amount of black pepper, substituted regular chili powder for the chipotle (nearly impossible for me to get here) and did use the brown sugar. Will certainly be doing this again! thanks for posting.

Oh how I wish I never tasted this. I usually prefer sausage links to bacon. I had some bacon so I thought I would try this and OMG I had to stop myself from eating half of it. My husband asked me what was for dinner tonight and I told him and he said oh. He wanted bacon again for dinner tonight. This will be the only way I make bacon from now on. Thanks Rita for a wonderful way to make bacon!
